Applied Berkebile Oil Company's Protection First Class (PFC) undercoat. The unique lanolin (Wool Wax) based formula of Protection First Class gives long lasting protection from rust and corrosion by covering the metal with a clear wax film that stays semi-liquid. Unlike rubber undercoating products that actually trap moisture underneath, the unique formula of PFC penetrates the pores of the metal, protecting from moisture, salt, and corrosion. Berkebile recommends getting a "touch up" every other year to recoat areas that receive large amounts of water spray (e.g. differentials and areas behind each wheel).

DISC: IT IS NORMAL TO EXPERIENCE SOME DRIPPING FOR THE FOLLOWING 1-2 WEEKS. PFC WILL STAIN UNTREATED CONCRETE SURFACES. SLIGHT "BURNING" SMELLS ARE NORMAL AS OVERSPRAY BURNS OFF OF HIGH TEMPERATURE AREAS. PRODUCT DOES HAVE AN ODOR WHICH DISSIPATES OVER TIME. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO PARK OUTSIDE OF GARAGE FOR AT LEAST THE FIRST WEEK.
